Samelight Team Photography is Josh Dutcher and Jeremiah Rittmiller. Lifelong friends with a shared passion for photography, we sometimes seem to share the "same brain". And since photography is all about light (the word photography is derived from the Greek words "photo" meaning light, and "graph" meaning to write, literally to write with light), the name Samelight seems appropriate.
The strength of Team Photography, however, is the different viewpoints and perspectives seen by each of us. We make an incredible team because we can look at the same scene and see vastly different but equally strong ways to capture that scene. At the end of a shoot, the diversity of our strengths and styles is obvious in the wide range of options we are able to present to our clients.

I can't seem to feed my brain enough about photography for it to ever be satisfied. As a technology junkie, I follow the world of photography via RSS feeds and podcasts. I stay aware of the latest trends, the newest gear, and what top shooters are doing, as well as keeping in touch with other local photographers. These inputs constantly spur endless inspiration and creativity in me and keep my work progressing, both personally and professionally.
I've been shooting for about 8 years. Some of my photographic influences include my current hero Joe McNally, genius Chase Jarvis, the guy whose work originally inspired my photographic creativity, Troy Paiva, and David Hobby over at Strobist, and the entire pool of creative geniuses inspired by him.
Some of my other hobbies include DJing and beating the tar out of Jeremiah at Halo 3. My personal photoblog is at www.shutterbuggery.org.
